I let my collection drift too heavily into Rolex - I'm really excited about the Omega forums...I think our time has come..

It's a strange thing to say about a brand that has been around since 1848..

But seriously I think Omega is poised to overtake Rolex once again..

Don't get me wrong, I love all of my Rolex, but when I look at the Value in an Omega for the price pont - it just can't be beat...

Everytime I look at one of my Omegas, it makes me feel like I paid too much for my Rollies...

I'm counting down the days until my LM arrives....

Hey Superdoc. Nice to read your comments. I've always been a Rolex dude, but I'm digging Omega big time. Any chance you can post some pics of your current Omegas?

Here are just the files I have on hand - my omegas, plus, just to put things into perspective, a glimpse at most of the rest...

Rolex has always been my "one day watch" (as in "one day I'll have one") but I totally agree with your comment that Rolex's are over-priced by comparison.

Great collection by the way.....

Nice.. I have the Motors T also. How do you like it compared to your smaller watches?

Thanks - I love the Bently..although it is 49mm it doesn't wear that big!

I find that because of the sliderule and the bezel, the dial size is actually small and it doesn't seem too big..

Of course, for me, it's a seasonal watch - only worn with short sleeves or rolled up sleeves in the warmer weather...
It definitely doesn't go with the dress shirts..

this is why multiple watches are a necessity!

That's funny because I answered the same way on another forum about the Bentley being broken up by the outer and inner bezels and as a result not wearing as big as it's size would indicate. It was my first "nice" watch and I did have to roll up my dress shirt cuffs when wearing it. After a while I had to finally go smaller. I wen't to a 45.5mm PO then to the Great white and Electric blue SMP. The EB fits nicely under most cuffs.

Holy (insert word here), Superdoc, you have several of the Rolex watches I'm lusting for. I'm digging the blue dial Seamaster that you have in the background, though. Very nice collection. I think PO will be my next watch. Although the Tudor Heritage is pretty sweet.

The SMP is still one of my all time favorites...

When I line it up in my collection, it doesn't back down from any piece...

Sometimes I feel like mailing an extra cheque to Swatchgroup just because I feel like I paid too little for it!

Hey Doc,

I was checking in to see if your watch arrived, but I guess it's next week, isn't it?
